julienlafreniere Finally got around to buying this one and I’m so glad I did. Those fake tempo changes in second guess had me dying of laughter. These live albums are always super inspiring Favorite track: Second Guess.

Adi Stoenescu Favorite live album from Kneebody! I like the raw live sound on this one. I had to listen a few times until a got a glimpse of what is happening in there, because it is a lot!
Marvikom is awesome, lots of musical changes, I think it is a hybrid between 2 songs, the ending being from Oblarvikom. Please listen to the last 2 minutes or so: distorted bass + fender and ferocious drumming, it reminded me of King Crimson's Red album with Wetton/Bruford. Favorite track: Marvikom.
John Cratchley

John Cratchley A band with a funky, killer rhythm section and fender rhodes always gets my attention and that's before you've added equally stunning trumpet and sax...Kneebody are the real deal.
These live recordings are very atmospheric and totally wired,I think...these guys don't miss a beat (or a trick...they are in the same hip league as Snarky Puppy and MOPDTK in that respect)...
I think of them as being as tight and on the button as Nik Bartch's zen-funk outfit:Ronin.
Live, live, live!! is their forte and this set of three recordings (US,Italy,France) are all on the money.

about

Kneebody Brooklyn, New York

When Kneebody first convened in the year 2001, they were five twenty-somethings gigging around Los Angeles’ vast pockets of nightlife. Trumpeter Shane Endsley and saxophonist Ben Wendel formed the frontline, telepathic and complimentary, while keyboardist Adam Benjamin, bassist Kaveh Rastegar and drummer Nate Wood formed the rhythm section. ... more
